Acquiring a motorcycle license at 16 for bikes under 250cc promotes independence and mobility, especially in areas where public transportation may be limited. It enables young individuals to commute independently and participate in activities that contribute to personal growth and development.

Non-Citizen/Permanent Resident Candidates Must Have a Valid Passport and Visitor Visa For a Period of at Least 1 Month.

To apply for a driving license as a passport holder in Malaysia, you need to prepare the following documents:

1. Three copies of your photograph with a white background, sized 32x25mm.
2. A letter of permission from your employer if you are currently employed.
3. A copy of your employer’s or supervisor’s IC (Identity Card).
4. A copy of your passport and visa.
5. Payment of RM150 for certified true copies (CTC).
6. The completed application form for a passport holder driving license (JPJL1).
